[NEW DATE] Birding at Arden Woods Park with Dana Barbato (6/23) (Free)
Admission
- Free
Description
NOTE: THIS EVENT WAS POSTPONED DUE TO POOR AIR QUALITY CONDITIONS IN NEW YORK CITY. NEW DATE WILL BE FRIDAY, JUNE 23RD.
Arden Woods contains vast, untouched forested wetlands and is one of the few places in New York City that retains undeveloped woodland. Join Dana Barbato and explore this Staten Island gem that should be teeming with wildlife, including warblers, hawks, and other birds this spring migration.
Registration not required but encouraged (it helps us know how many binoculars we should bring!). No limit. Free.
Note on Accessibility:
Arden Woods contains various hiking trails. There is parking available near the adjacent soccer fields off Arthur Kill Road. The park is also accessible via the S56, S74, SIM23, and SIM4C.
