Description

Discover a diversity of fall migrants with longtime birder and Staten Island resident, Seth Wollney. Expect to see a variety of migrant songbirds in the wooded areas of the park. We will also check the pond and beach for shorebirds, terns, and other waterbirds.

The group will meet in the parking lot just west of the intersection of Chester Avenue and Corneila Avenue.

Note on Accessibility:

Wolfe's Pond Park contains dirt paths and hiking trails of easy, moderate, and difficult levels. Restrooms can be found in the east and weat structures near the beach. There is a parking lot on site, and public transportation available nearby, including the S78, SIM26, SIM4C buses and SIR train.
