Admission

  • $28.00  -  Member Admission
  • $42.00  -  General Admission

Description

Join NYC Audubon's Tod Winston for an exploration of all of the chips, tweets, trills, and warbles we hear in parks across New York City, starting off with the Bronx's beautiful Van Cortlandt Park. Though we certainly won't pass up any non-singing birds, this series is intended specifically for those who'd like to identify birds by sound alone. We'll discuss the meanings of different songs and calls as we get to know them in a small group. All experience levels welcome.

$28 for NYC Audubon members, $42 for non-members. Limited to 15 people.

Accessibility and Directions:

Restrooms are located throughout the park, including at the Van Cortlandt Pool on Broadway between West 242nd Street and Manhattan College Parkway. The 1 train and Bx9, BxM3, 0001, 0002, and 0003 buses stop closest to the path leading to the Nature Center in the park. For more information on directions, visit the NYC Parks website.
