Peep the dazzling fall foliage and learn about the relationships between native and migratory birds and the trees they depend on for forage and habitat. This final tour is offered as part of the third annual City of Forest Day presented by Forest for All NYC in partnership with the Parks and Open Space Partners – NYC Coalition and NYC Parks.

This tour will meet on Governors Island in Nolan Park! No registration required. Free.

Accessibility and Directions:

The Governors Island ferry is free on weekends before noon, but if you plan to arrive in the afternoon, you will need to purchase ferry tickets. Governors Island contains a variety of terrain, from hilly, grassy areas to paved and cobble stone paths. The latter can be difficult to walk on with strollers, for example. Public restrooms are located a short distance away from the Colonels Row House.
