Description
Join NYC Bird Alliance (formerly NYC Audubon) executive director Jessica Wilson, board president Mike Yuan, and advisory council member Tom Stephenson, along with landscape architects from Prospect Park Alliance, for a fall morning in one of New York City’s most iconic parks and a birding hotspot. We will explore the Vale of Cashmere, a woodland habitat in the park’s northeast corner to learn about PPA’s upcoming landscape restoration plans and spot birds like Black-Crowned Night Herons, Warbling Vireos, American Redstarts, and more.
Registration required. Must be a current NYC Bird Alliance member to register. No limit.
Accessibility and Directions:
Prospect Park trails are paved and mostly flat. Multiple restrooms can be found all across the park. There is no onsite parking; the nearest is on 51-81 Parkside Ave. For more information on directions, visit the Prospect Park website.
