Description
Join NYC Bird Alliance (formerly NYC Audubon) seasonal associate field biologist, Nic Comparato, for a night of "batting"! Did you know that several bat species can be found in New York City? From Little Brown Bats, to Big Brown Bats, Hoary Bats, Eastern Red Bats, and more! Come for a stroll at dusk to see and hear these cute critters when they're most active.
Registration required. Limited to 25. Free. Participants will need close-toed shoes and a flashlight or headlamp.
Accessibility and Directions:
Prospect Park trails are paved and mostly flat, but may be wet and muddy. Multiple restrooms can be found all across the park. The F and G trains can be found close to the meeting location. There is no onsite parking. For more information on directions, visit the Prospect Park website.
