Description
Join us in exploring the woodlands and meadows of beautiful Brooklyn Bridge Park! Enjoy coastal views of the city and the waterbirds on the East River.
Accessibility is enhanced by birding guide and educator Alexandra Wang (Avian Alex), M.S. Ed., who offers augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) pamphlets, Braille pamphlets and plush birds for an inclusive birding tour. Further accommodations can be requested in advance by emailing Alex at alexmwang1992@gmail.com.
The group will meet at the park entrance near Pier 1, located at 2 Furman Street. Registration not required but encouraged. No limit. Free.
Accessibility and Directions:
Brooklyn Bridge Park contains paved paths and a restroom near the meeting location. Pier 1 can be reached by the NYC Ferry, New York Water Taxi, and Governors Island Ferry.
