Description
Join NYC Bird Alliance's (formerly NYC Audubon) Woo Sung Park and The Trust for Public Land and explore the QueensWay as Climate Week 2024 wraps up! The QueensWay is an intiative to transform the LIRR Rockaway Beach Branch that cuts through Forest Park into a new green space. This blossoming new park is sure to attract many bird species this fall.
NEW MEETING LOCATION: The Stop and Shop on Union Turnpike (8989 Union Turnpike, Glendale, NY 11385). Registration not required but encouraged. No limit. Free.
Accessibility and Directions:
This outing will follow both paved and unpaved paths and may include some steps and uneven terrain. A public restroom is available near the meeting spot. The Q11 and Q21 buses stop right near to the Visitors Center at the Woodhaven Blvd/Forest Park Dr bus stop.
