Description
Alley Pond Park is an ecological treasure. Containing both fresh and saltwater wetlands, forests, tidal flats, meadows, and glacier-formed landscape, this park supports a vast array of birds. Join NYC Bird Alliance to explore Oakland Lake within the park in particular.
The group will meet at a park entrance near the lake at 46th Ave and Cloverdale Blvd. Registration not required but encouraged. No limit. Free.
Accessibility and Directions:
This park contains a mix of paved and unpaved paths. The Q12 Northern Blvd/223 St bus stop is closest to the meeting location as well as Q27. There are parking lots across the intersection of the meeting spot.
