Description
Join NYC Bird Alliance at one of Staten Island's hidden gems, Wolfe's Pond Park. Explore the park’s diverse habitats and spot wintering birds like Northern Pintails, American Black Ducks, and Red-bellied Woodpeckers. Staten Island resident and birder, Anthony Ciancimino will led us through the space.
The group will meet in the parking lot just west of the intersection of Chester Avenue and Corneila Avenue. Registration not required but encouraged. No limit. Free.
Accessibility and Directions:
This park has a mix of paved and gravel trails on fairly flat terrain, as well as possibly walking on a sandy beach. There are restrooms on site. The S78 bus stops at the corner of Hylan Blvd. & Corneila Ave.
