Birding by Ear Across the City with Tod Winston - Prospect Park (5/1)
Admission
- $28.00 - Member Admission
- $42.00 - General Admission
Description
Join NYC Bird Alliance's Tod Winston for an exploration of all of the chips, tweets, trills, and warbles heard in parks across New York City in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. This series is designed for those interested in identifying birds by sound, though we won’t pass up any non-singing birds along the way. We’ll discuss the meanings behind different songs and calls in a small group setting, increasing your ability to indentify birds solely by sound. All experience levels are welcome.
$28 for NYC Bird Alliance members, $42 for non-members. Limited to 12 people.
Interested in the other sessions of this series? Register for the following locations: Central Park - North Woods, Central Park - Ramble, Van Cortlandt Park, and Forest Park.
Accessibility and Directions:
There is no onsite parking. Various public transportation stop by the meeting point, including the B41 bus, as well as the 2 and 3 lines. For more information on directions, visit the Prospect Park website.
