Highland park is nestled inbetween both Queens and Brooklyn! With its lush forested areas, serene reservoir, and vibrant community garden, it's the perfect spot for migrating birds. Join Woo Sung Park as you discover the Ridgewood Reservoir, which has been transformed into a wild, thriving young forest since it was last used in 1989. 

The group will meet at the Highland Park parking lot off of Vermont Place within the park (58-2 Vermont Pl, Glendale, NY 11385). Registration not required but encouraged. Free.

Note on Accessibility:

Highland Park has a mix of paved and unpaved paths on a mix of flat and hilly terrain. Restrooms can be found near the meeting spot. The park is accessible by the Q24 and Q56 buses, and the J train. For more information, visit The Forest Park Trust's website.
