Description
Join NYC Bird Alliance to look and listen for birds! We'll stroll through Cooper Park Houses and its nearby park, which is a perfect place to see residents birds. The group will meet in front of the Cooper Park Older Adult Center (288 Frost Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11222).
Registration not required but encouraged. No limit. Free. No experience necessary!
NYCHA in Nature is a partnership program with NYC Bird Alliance and the Public Housing Community Fund to offer birding opportunities and exposure to nature for NYCHA residents and the general public. The program will explore the outdoor space within the NYCHA developments as well as nearby public green space.
Accessibility and Directions:
The L subway line has a station within walking distance, and several bus routes, including B24, Q32, Q54, Q59, and B43, with stops nearby.
