Description

Join NYC Bird Alliance and West Harlem Art Fund for a birding walk in historic Morningside Park. This park was also designed by the famed Central Park architects, Calvert Vaux and Frederick Law Olmsted!

 

The group will be meeting at park's entrance at 110th Street and Manhattan Avenue.

 

Registration encouraged but not required. Free.

 

Note on Accessibility: 

Morningside Park contains paved paths, though some areas have steep inclines and stairs. Restrooms can be found near multiple playgrounds around the park, with an accessible one located at the Playground 123 Public Restroom on West 123rd Street & Morningside Avenue. The M3 and M4 buses stop closest to the meeting spot, and the A, B, and C trains are accessible at the nearby Cathedral Parkway (110th Street) station.
