Description

Did you know that more bird species have been spotted in New York than in Yellowstone National Park? Join us as author Ryan Goldberg shares amazing facts and delightful tales of idiosyncratic characters—both human and feathered—captured in his new book, Bird City: Adventures in New York’s Urban Wilds. Ryan will discuss how a year connecting with birders, scientists (including members of NYC Bird Alliance), and the birds themselves offered him a unique look at the vibrant birding community across the five boroughs.
