Description

Are you curious about birding but don’t have much (or any) experience? Join NYC Bird Alliance in Morningside Park, also designed by Central Park's architects Calvert Vaux and Frederick Law Olmsted! Learn the basics right before springtime. Binoculars available upon request.
Registration highly encouraged. Group will meet at the park's entrance on 110th Street and Manhattan Avenue.
Accessibility: Morningside Park contains paved paths, though some areas have steep inclines and stairs. Restrooms can be found near multiple playgrounds around the park, with an accessible one located at the Playground 123 Public Restroom on West 123rd Street & Morningside Avenue.
Directions: The M3 and M4 buses stop closest to the meeting spot, and the A, B, and C trains are accessible at the nearby Cathedral Parkway (110th Street) station.
