Discover this small hidden gem  with the Young Conservationists! Owl's Head Park contains rolling hills, meandering pathways, and breathtaking views of the New York skyline and striking Verrazano Narrows Bridge.

Registration not required but encouraged. Free. The group will meet at the park's entrance on 68th St and Colonial Road. 

In case you're wondering how to become a Young Conservationist, a donation of $25 will earn you a Young Conservationist level membership with NYC Bird Alliance. Young Conservationist is a membership level for nature lovers ages 18-35. Membership gives you discounts on most trips and classes and invitations to special YC member events, while also supporting NYC Bird Alliance's conservation, advocacy, and engagement efforts throughout the City's five boroughs. 

Accessbility: The parks offers paved paths throughout. There is a public restroom on-site near the meeting point.

Directions: Owl's Head Park is accessible via the R subway line to the 59th Street station, followed by a short walk to the park.
