Description

Join NYC Bird Alliance at one of Staten Island's hidden gems, Wolfe's Pond Park. Explore the park’s diverse habitats and spot wintering birds like Northern Pintails, American Black Ducks, and Red-bellied Woodpeckers. Led by Staten Island resident and long-time birder, Anthony Ciancimino.

 

Registration not required but encouraged. No limit. Free. The group will meet in the parking lot just west of the intersection of Chester Avenue and Cornelia Avenue.

 

Accessibility: This park has a mix of paved and gravel trails on fairly flat terrain, as well as possibly walking on a sandy beach. Please note there are restrooms on site.

 

Directions: The S78 bus stops at the corner of Hylan Blvd. & Corneila Ave.
