Join NYC Bird Alliance's Tod Winston for an exploration of all of the chips, tweets, trills, and warbles heard in parks across New York City in Central Park's North Woods. This series is designed for those interested in identifying birds by sound, though we won’t pass up any non-singing birds along the way. We’ll discuss the meanings behind different songs and calls in a small group setting, increasing your ability to indentify birds solely by sound. All experience levels are welcome.
$30 for NYC Bird Alliance members, $45 for non-members. Limited to 12 people.
Interested in the other sessions of this series? Register for the following locations: Van Cortlandt Park, Forest Park, Prospect Park, and Clove Lakes Park.
Accessibility: Central Park generally contains paved and unpaved paths of varying inclines, but we will stick to paths most comfortable for everyone. Midway there will a restroom available for use.
