Description

Hear from Riverside Park’s Director of Horticulture, Jessica Kaplan, about management and restoration of the park’s Forever Wild Nature Preserve and Bird Sanctuary. You’ll also learn about the many ways NYC Bird Alliance has collaborated with Riverside Park Conservancy from programming to conservation initiatives, including the renovation of the park’s Volunteer House with bird-safe glass. Light Birding as we move along the space led by NYC Bird Alliance's Biodiversity Specialist and Bird Guide Tod Winston.
Must be a current NYC Bird Alliance Member. Registration required.
Accessibility: Please note there are no immediate restrooms near the meeting location. Route will take both unpaved and paved paths at various inclines.
