Join NYC Bird Alliance and Woodlawn Conservancy for a morning bird outing and tour of this beautiful cemetery. Tod Winston and Joseph McManus will look for spring migrants and year-round residents on the expansive grounds, while Woodlawn team member Elizabeth Hunter will share fascinating stories about the cemetery’s history and the interesting mixture of individuals interred there.
$30 for NYC Bird Alliance and Woodlawn Conservancy members, $45 for non-members. Limited to 18 people.
Accessibility: This outing will follow level, paved roads and paths, as well as some mowed grassy areas. Restrooms are available at the Jerome Avenue entrance.
Directions: Parking is free on-site but also accessible by the 4 line. More visiting information is available at Woodlawn Cemetery's website.
