Description

It's World Migratory Bird Day and we are highlighting the importance of community science to bird conservation.

Stop by Greenwich Village's Jefferson Market Garden for a drop-in ecology session to learn more about our conservation science work happening in this community garden! Explore the Garden with NYC Bird Alliance scientists and learn about the many spring migrants that forage in this rich habitat.

Urban Biodiversity Specialist Tod Winston will discuss biodiversity monitoring and help spot colorful migrants. Chat for five minutes or bird all morning long!

This is a partner event with Jefferson Market Garden and free to attend! No registration required but encouraged. Binoculars will be available to borrow.

Please note that there is no food allowed in the Garden.
