Description

Join NYC Bird Alliance and the New York Restoration Project in celebrating City of Water Day with a free bird outing along Harlem River! City of Water Day was created by the Waterfront Alliance and the New York–New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program (HEP) to promote and support climate resiliency in the New York and New Jersey harbor.

Sherman Creek is a small street-end park with lots to uncover. Its proximity to Highbridge Park, Fort Tyron Park, and Inwood Hill Park make it a prime destination for migratory birds. Come see what you this small but vibrant park has to offer.  The group will be meeting at the entrance at W199th St & 10th Ave. Registration not required but highly encouraged. Free.

Directions: The nearest stop to the meeting point is Dyckman St on the 1 line.

Acessibility: The paths are paved and there is an accessible ramp found at 202 St. There is a public restroom on-site.
