Birding along the QueensWay (9/19)

Join NYC Bird Alliance and The Trust for Public Land as we explore the QueensWay through birding! The QueensWay is an intiative to transform the LIRR Rockaway Beach Branch that cuts through Forest Park into a new green space. 

Registration not required but HIGHLY encouraged.  The group will be meeting at Stop and Shop at 8989 Union Tpke, Glendale, NY 11385 at 10AM and walk into the park together using the public walking path on the left side of Forest View Crescent Apartment. Google Map. No limit. Free.

Accessibility: This outing will follow both paved and unpaved paths and may include some steps and uneven terrain. A public restroom is available near the meeting spot.

Directions: The following buses stop near the meeting point - Q11, Q52+, Q53+, QM15, Q23, Q55.
