Member Event: Urban Biodiversity on the High Line (9/15)

Join us for fall migration birding at NYC’s most popular linear park, and hear from the Friends of the High Line’s horticulture team about how the park’s native plants are creating habitat for urban wildlife, including birds. Stretching 1.45 miles, the High Line serves as an essential corridor for migrating birds and a green haven for New Yorkers and visitors alike. The High Line also weaves through the Biodiversity District, a first-of-its-kind program launched by NYC Bird Alliance that coordinates biodiversity action across property lines and sectors on Manhattan’s Lower West Side.

Must be a current NYC Bird Alliance Member. Registration required. Limit 28. 

Meeting Location: Exact meeting location will be shared via the confirmation email. 

Accessibility: The High Line is an elevated green space. Access is available via stairs or an elevator service.
